Modular Insert

Post by ReD_MuZe »

These are Insert effects that load the modular pannel.
you can put them into mixers, in synths with inset effects and so on...

enjoy!

*** Saving problem fixed

Important note:
if you want it to load with your projects you must save, and reload in the insert spot. it remembers the path so if you dont do it it will just load the empty modular.

Uh, very cool, it's similar to a DJMicron's device (I've forgot now the name...)
We must re-build an entire modular patch inside this DEV.
I'm looking (since years) for something similar but that allow to load an entire Modular patch (synth or EFX) without the need of rebuilding (or just copy) all from scratch.
Do you think it's possible, Red?

This solution could be a possible workaround to load and use modular synth inside XTC VSTi mode...
4PC + Scope 5.0 + no more Xite + 2xScope Pro + 6xPulsarII + 2xLunaII + SDK + a lot of devices (Flexor III & Solaris 4.1 etc.) + Plugiator.

Dear PlZ'ers

This one is a temporary version that still can't be saved as a single device and not parametrized, we are working to make it complete, that will be very soon. :)

Anyway, you can start experimenting a bit with it, but remember that the loaded modules are not saved yet so don't use it in important projects that have to be saved and reloaded as they are.

Stay tuned!

just for notifivation, it once crashed my SFP.

Does not mean that there is something wrong with it, but it could be a problem...

second and third load into insert was succesful.

fixed!

you can save modules inside, since the module saving mechanism has changed it is possible scope will promp you to save the patch, it will not work. you must save the patch in the modular window first.

also to refresh the loading path reload the patch after saving it. else the project will open an empty modular.

other than that it is fully functional as an inser effect.

this is NOT an XTC effect.
realy people, let XTC go! your missing the whole point of scope!

peace!

Yep, I know. For this reason I use both: XTC in host PC and SFP in slave PC, linked via adat and ethernet midi. ;)
XTC mode is very useful to load all in one easy & fast project, and to use i.e. UAD FX or native FX with Scope.
A VSTi insert for modular loading is only one of my secret dream... non so fundamental but amazing in some situation.

Thanks ReD.

Nice one Red & Thanks for releasing this freely! Checked it out & it seems to work a very well :)

It's nice being able to load modules from directly within the shell as per norm. (previous mod shell insert devices released here haven't had that feature! )

Thanks again,
Shroomz

It seems if I load Modular Insert M it loads the Stereo version, and the other way around ????

If I insert the mono version I get a search box for the stereo version.....

is it me or shouldnt this be happening ? :)

is it possible somehow to load existing patches/devices (like the flexor tutorial files) into that window? I´d like to experiment with that, it seems not to work though

thanks for making this, it´s a very nice tool!!
