P-plate problem

Post by Conqueror's Reign »

Has anyone seen or had a problem box pop up saying module p-plate midi A is inappropriate for this hardware? Any ideas what could cause it?

Also is it possible with 2 or more cards to use all of the midi i/o?

you might try reseating the i/o plate on the card.

yes, you should be able to use all i/o.

Thanks Garyb will do!

A quick question about setups with more than one scope card.
If you have two different types of scope cards in the same pc is it neccersary to have the driver for each card installed or can both cards use the same driver?

the cards will show up with a different label since the PCI identifier is different, but imho the driver itself is the same. just let windows install the driver again.

Ok reseated the i/o plate but still get this problem box saying module p2 midi input not appropriate for your hardware. It seems to only pop up when i open the synth.pro in the examples folder. Also when playing synths notes hang inserted a midi monitor and only thing that shows is the note on and note off. Just installed a second scope card if that helps, thanks guys.

oh, you just need to remove the midi module and put a new one in it's place. the computer is different now and the project needs to be rebuilt. make sure that both cards are recognized.
