Thanks for answering Jimmy!
I surely tell you how it works once its build, which should be soon if everything goes well.
DDRIII
Jimmy, I have read a real lot about DDRIII, and it will come to be “the real thing” in about 14 to 16 month aprox, as the platform is not ready yet. There are, again, BIG changes coming to the computer world in terms of hardware to be shown from 2008 and on. There will be a refurbishment of what is RAM and also video cards, always in the search for speed and power.
Motherboards
I have read an average of about 10 to 12 hours per day because I am in a rush. I have researched so much in this week that my impression is no longer the same. Reviews are truly the way to go to see things more objectively. I don’t longer think any motherboard trademark is “the best”, it is simply no true. There is no longer the best board as per trademark, as long as you compare among the most important brands of course. What I see it that it has happened what happened once with cars. Good cars were just a few ones 25 or 30 years ago, so everybody was very much impressed, for instance, by the Mercedes brand as being the very top of the line. Then technology started to be available for a much more open bunch of people, new incredible brands opened their own factories, and an extremely high level of competition started. I have had interesting conversations with mechanics about this, and when I mention Mercedes as being the great thing, they said to me: “no, no longer… it is just one more brand, there are many good cars today”. With motherboards it is happening exactly the same thing. What I believe is that there is the “BEST” motherboard for you, according to your needs, but not the best brand anymore.
Big changes to come:
There are big changes ready for the next years that will revolutionise completely, the PC market. CTR monitors are disappearing and you can find almost nothing but LCD monitors for instance. But new revolutionary hardware is already there… But as always, they need first to create on us the “need” for more, so also revolutionary software is up to come in the following years, so heavy and so big, that you will need new computers to run them, again!
Cheers
