No, I just sent a project with a few modfilters (and many common creamware stuff) that should be hearable at creamware booth: ask for "Love Machine" by Mehdi . It's one of my current productions.

I just come to see people, see new gear andchill out a bit

Hi to all,
i just came back from the messe and it was cool. I was impressed by the new models of guitar and bass (6 and 4 strings). I converted 2 tracks from the cd. too bad there's no demo of a distortion guitar, because that's really cool too. Plenty of parameters to play with and my project was installed on SFP, which works fine (many cool people out there too).

btw, as we talked about this, i just found a real-time spectrum analyzer on http://www.winamp.com (see pictures in ModFilter on PlanetZ device page, it's beautiful, and accurate). Use it with a winamp "line-in" plu gin, and it does the job very well. Winamp is fed by a wave source, so mute the wave-source to avoid delay effect. and for the price you can't beat it.
direct link http://spectool.mastak.com/

Look for "spectrum" in winamp.com "browse plugins", there are a few others i didn't test yet.

Thanx alot, I'll check it out.
I also just remembered that you can do live-input in Wavelab, so I'll try that as well.

Thanks for that Winamp thing. Will install Winamp with appropriate plug-ins now just to get this functionality.

A real time spectrum analyser is exactly what I've been looking for. Will help my mixing immeasurably.

You know they probably would use Scope on demos. Not that I know the answer to your question or anything because I wasn't even there.

However if that is the case, it is a common marketing ploy to show a more expensive model and a cheaper price. Car advertisements do it all the time and I'm sure I've seen many examples in the computer audio world as well.

I do think it can be unnecessarily misleading and I've been disappointed in the past when the final product I've purchased hasn't lived up to the expectations in the advertising, but I don't blame a particular company for it - just the entirely unethical way in which companies advertise products in general. It's quite sickening.

I was at another demo, and they clearly had lots of DSP power. They showed all but the sample frequency, and did not mention/know which devices were optional. They did the demo I saw in Pulsar OS3 and showed some of VDAT too, in it's own OS/program.
The demo sounded very convincing, although I'm sure some freaks here could know more

They did the demo I visited in http://www.keymusic.be on an Intel BX PII @ 400MHz  and with one Scope card if they were probably on 44kHz, and more cards for higher samplerates I presume.

I might be right, I might be wrong.

At the messe they had SFP everywhere. From what I understand, evrything is now called "Scope" as it was at the very begining (Scope Fusion Plateform, that's the logo i have in Scope DP since the begining).
Then you have options to SFP : SFP-Pulsar, SFP-SP;, etc etc.
The only differences between the options, are the device packs they come with.
So your current pulsar will soon be a SFP-Pulsar.
(nb: "Scope" never existed as a sofwtare, it always described the board or the Pulsar/Luna/PowerSampler/SP/DP base systems (re: scope drivers...)

The high number of DSP allows to show many projects without loading a new project each time. All worked very well and it is a very promising release.

I nany case, even if you have 15 dsp, you would record audio tracks when you overload your project. Yo ujust do it one or two hours later with more dsp

aah, i realized it is our national DXL who is asking the question  Ahh, those modern teenagers ..... hehe
There is a thread about the new SFP, with a scan of the brochure, in the Annoucement part of PlanetZ forums.
