in all my years of scope usage, i haven't come across this function, but i'd like to open synth/fx/mixer surfaces with keystrokes or midi messages.
cycling through surfaces would be a solution as well.
at the moment i'm still working with a mac os9 system, and screen shots didn't seem to work out when i tried.
anyway, i'd be very happy if i could open/close the routing window and mixer of choice without reaching for my mouse. i also have a nostromo b52 gaming pad that could be very useful in this regard...
maybe something for scope V5?
all ideas are welcome
plugin windows open/close with midi/keystroke?

i haven't tried lately but iirc, screenshots didn't seem to work like i wanted to. especially surfaces not opening in the place they were closed last and other small things.
comparing atom's pc system with my mac, i always had the impression the pc had more functionality, also regarding keystrokes (like comm+d to duplicate modules in modular). i'm switching systems within the next weeks, so am hoping for an even better scope experience.

Greetings, borg,
For almost any device, like with the regular controls: right-click the close (x) button, move midi control so it learns, save midi remote preset. Now toggle that button.
[edit] i dont know about your control surface, but i programmed my pc1600x (midi programming gallore!) button for a CC to toggle between min/max values (0-127) for this function, as I did for any other toggle button that has to be midi remote controlled.
[edit2] sorry, wolf, didn't read all of your post eh.
Easy as can get no? Works on mac as on pc eh.

cheers atom!
midi controlling show/hide works...
I haven't experimented a lot, but it seems to work better than using screenshots. The problem with both is that not all devices reopen where they were closed. Especially in a 2 screen setup this is a pita as a lot of devices prefer to open on the 'os' screen (where i don't want it). Strange... Behaviour also depends if you close the device with the mouse and then open using midi, or only with midi...

the screenshots may be nice when you never edit your projects, but adding any device makes it not stored in the screenshot. so only static setups would work with these screenshots eh.
does this make anyone else think of a modular preset list annoyance?
