GigaStudio 3 paralysed bye XTC

as soon as I run gigaStudio 3 I receive followings: App can´t be loaded. XTC in Steinberg/VSTplug-in folder interrupts program.

does anybody know, why.

GSIF project is loaded in SFP.

The creamware ASIO driver is not multiclient!

That's right,

But also get rid of Gigastudio 3 and upgrade to Gigastudio 4.

Gigastudio 3 was actually meant to run on it's own DAW. It runs great with Scope, but you could get GVI and run that as a VSTi. I do that and it works great with any VST host you choose.

GS3 is a great app to create on, and GVI is the application to play back your performances. GS3 will play back everythinmg but it is finnicky, and a major pain in the ass.

I have used Giga for years and it always worked well w/ Scope, but outside of that, you are taking your chances.

Gigastudio 4 is the best sampler / host available. You can get it in Februrary '08.

what exactly does that mean?

gs3 should use the gsif driver. asio is only possible in standalone and not xtc mode. when using asio for giga, you cannot use asio for the sequencer in xtc or scope mode.
