Exist any Rack for loading Scope instruments inside?

A place to talk about whatever Scope music/gear related stuff you want.

DSP to US$ ratio for Scope Pro and Xite --

Scope Pro New $1400

$100/DSP

Scope Pro Used $700

$50/DSP

Xite $ $4600

$33/DSP

Certainly you get more for your money by buying the Xite, but at what point it's worthwhile depends on what your typical DSP load is.

I wonder how much more DSP hungry the 5.0 devices will be in comparison with 4.5.

Well, if SC have been hiring some ex-Microsoft staff, I'd say about 15 times more than before...

I, for instance, would be completely happy with just 14 DSPs, I don't need 140 of them. So, I'd like to see a $500 card with equivalent of 14 "old" DSPs rather than $4500 device with 140 of them.

it's the same platform as the cards. you can still buy a scope card. you will be able to get pci slots for many years to come. you can't lose.... :)

I don't want to spend $2000 on a 14 DSP card. For something like $500 (i.e. with new cheaper and more powerful DSPs with performance equal to 14 old DSPs), I'd consider it.
Actually, I'd like SonicCore to release something not for those who mix and master, but rather for Scope synth lovers. Maybe a card (preferably external) with no I/O at all, just DSPs to run synths and effects on it, for affordable price (<1000$). That I'd seriously consider buying,

I know about Noah (and I would rather get Plugiator), but it's not exactly what I want as there's just several plugins for it and you can use only those; you can't run Modular on it, for example.
