Hello everybody ! How is possible to record my Cubase proj in 96k ? I have loops and voice in 44k and i want to record them into a separate track in 96K to apply for mastering. I've tried to change samplerate setting, but then i cannot hear my proj anymore, and if i try to rec in 96k when i listebn it (turning back to 44) go to double speed. What is the right procedure ? Thanks in advance
Bye

i think you'll have to sample rate convert your audiotracks to 96k before you can get them to play at 96k.

resampling is a bad idea.the possible gains will be lost and then some.bit depth is more flexible. see the post (in general discussions, i believe) about samplerate.

Yup, if you wanna import 'different samplerate from clock' you'll have to convert, some programs do it for you (like Cakewalk does make new wavs per song/import).

Sampledepth changing during processing is normal, but the rate is better not changed. I think you better keep it in 44.1kHz. Cos you'll have to down-convert after mastering again. What a hassle
