cset.ini

Post by studioblabla »

Hello All,

Is there somewhere a description of the entries in the cset.ini?

I was looking around in the file for an xtc problem.

I have 3 boards: pulsar 2, pulsar and powersampler.

In scope I see the cards in the right order (pulsar2 pulsar powersampler)

I tweaked the numboards to 3
and than boardid so that they come in right order

but in xtc the order is different.

there he takes pulsar as 1, pulsar 2 as 2 and power as 3
(I want to set latency low for direct monitoring, but get error "not possible below 13ms...")

is this the host entry? board0=host

thanks Bart

I don't remember the exact context, but numboards does NOT have the meaning one expects - I'd rather reset it to the original value.
As stardust wrote 'board1=host' should solve your problem and set the Pulsar 2 as 'master' or 'main' board. Then you can use the lower ULLI values

cheers, Tom
