other than a leida.

i was yearning for some wave swept ppg type sounds (which my esq1 used to
give me....it no give no mo ) i remembered coming across more than a few
simple waldorf wavetable modular patches and i gave the ones i could find in
my search, a going over. i liked arikama's macrowave a little better, but
leida's patch was just calling out for me to give it some tlc.

so i did....added more modulation matrix selection for most of the mod inputs,
all mod i/o are fed by a repeatable and highly flexible selection of mod
sources and destinations, as i mentioned quite a few of the more crucial mod
inputs are fed by a 4 way matrix selector which the original patch had, but in
much less quantity (i held back on giving every mod input one). the multi lfo
is now fed a restarting gate signal on note on. basically just maximised what
features were availble in the availble modules, replaced a few things...added
midi clock syncing of an lfo and the tempo delay. hmm, cleaned up the
layout...hmm.

so, well...i got my wave sweepy sounds, and did up a small batch of presets,
some are sort of reworks of orignal patches but with added expresiveness, and
movemant. others are pretty much start from scratch type things. velocity and
keyfollow are used to great effect me thinks.

dsp useage is still very good, i can max out on 5 voices with my luna II, the patch defaults to 4.

best.

maket - works perfectly here. the .zip does include folders, and the files are inside of the folders. but I loaded the patch just fine.

this is a sweet one, I'll probably be using this in a composition.

i just tried downloading the zip onto a pc (i normally use a mac) and unzipping, works fine. on me mac i was using aladdin dropstuff 5.5 to zip it up, ie 5.02 to d/l. on the pc i used ie 6 and winzip 8.0.

so is most likely a small problem on yer ends.

Drop me your mail adress and I'll mail the files unzipped. I'll also shorten the name, to standardise it if that could possibly give errors

just had to get a thanks in for the gracious comment subhuman.

i've since found out the patch is flawed in the wavetable crossfade env mod.

the two envelope mod sources are unipolar in modulation but the crossfade module responds fully to only bipolar mod values. i programed the patches around it somewhat knowingly at the time, but have since gained further understanding. its sort of funny the response a unipolar signal has on a bipolar input. these are some test i made.

when mod depth is 100% and the manual crossfade control is at 7 o'clock, no amount of modulation from a constant value module will have an effect. with the manual crossfade control at 12 o'clock a value of 0 =an equal mix of both oscs. a value of 127=only osc1? the values foldback or something?

when the manual crossfade control is at 5 o'clock a value of 0=osc1. a value of 127=a mix of both oscs.

when using a bipolar constant val fed into the crossfade mod input, mod depth at 100%, manual crossfade control at 12 o'clock; -64=osc1, 0=equal mix of both oscs and, +64=osc2.

anyhow, i really like the presets i made up, so i'll just leave the patch. it could be corrected, but it can also be programed for and around.
