Fluxpod, I don't think it's something that's a fault of Sonic Core's.

i just tried plastic and Goofy, messed with the polyphony saved a project, closed projects, swapped projects and it was all fine. What computer and OS do you have Fluxpod, because i haven't seen a blue screen of death on anything for maybe 10 years?

Those old synths were fine on 4.5 too for me.

And i agree..still annoying tho. :D

Thx Mr.Arkadin

I think...it is related to the perperhost...it does that in projekts with this device. These projekts mostly host Plastik aswell.I try it out without ppg!
I run xp on a 2.8 Ghz P4 with 2 gb ocz Platinum ddr2 and a nvidia 6600 with 256 mb.It never crashes or anything..i guess its related to this 1 device.

After furter testing...Its perperghost andTubeflute........even removing it makes the pc bluescreen. No idea why but these devices are out of my use list...i liked them very much tho :-?

EDIT. Tubeflute crashing/bluescreening is confirmed by another user. Not a v5 bug tho..but still a warning.

Looks like we've got a full on bug testing team running here :)

BUG REPORT: The new SC effects do not populate the Channel Text dialogue when the surface is invoked from an insert slot. If I pop one of the above in an insert slot and then open the panel the Channel will not be listed in the text field at the head of the surface. This also happens to a couple of the overdrive plugs.

In true McD's fashion I'm still lovin it!

BUG REPORT:In Tools/External Devices the modules Destination M, Destination S, External Effect M, External Effect S and External Master Effect all give the error "PepAddRouting: wrong module type" when clicking on their GUIs. Also have the same problem with the Notepad module.

Also the modules MIDI Remote and MIDI Remote Fader have old-style presets lists.

[edit]Now the Pep thing has fixed itself. Weird[/edit]

The ol' miniscope has seen better days. :P

That or it's got a new v5 "knobs only" gui.

STS5000 is keyed, but will not open. Gives error message that registration key is required.

Also, still getting the 'Hardware Version 16 detected' error message when booting PC.

Otherwise the GUI is 'poppy', and I like the transparency.

S5000 is knackerd. The really lame thing is that when you get this registration screw up it totals the whole setup as there's no way to get out of the registration loop, as has been mentioned.

The hardware 16 error is caused by v4.5 driver trying to kick off at startup. Bin the startup line.

At the moment v5 is more trouble than it's worth to me.

Goin' back to v4.5 till the coast is clear. :)

OK. I'll swap you a synth bug for a sampler bug.

BUG REPORT: Inserting the new SC Chorus-Delay into an insert slot produces noise at the output with no input signal.

First of all: I'm really impressed... :D
the new reverbs, the das channelstrip.... everything really cool!!!! The sound is sooo sweet....
I "ordered" the keys yesterday afternoon (it's a luna with s&s and m&m-pack, version4 only!!! and a P2 without relevant keys)
and got them about 0,5h later.... COOOL!!!
But I think some of our problems might be key related...

Chorus_Delay as Instert: No bug here, no noise ... ;-)
BUT: the preste bug with all new SC reverbs... Even if you import the presets and save your file, it's not recalled... you have to do it
every time you want to use one of these superb fxs
STS 5000: No registry messing... seems to work... I'll check later again...
miniscope MK2: Just loaded this little synth... I could see in the livebar that the background pic misses, only knobs. But Scope5
didn't respond anymore. Had to close it manually and reboot.

No we come to my critical points:
I have the keys for optimaster but it's not accepted by Scope 5... It just keeps asking for it but loads the device. But no sound and message:
unregistered device detected...

So far... :D
