Hi All,
I’m having a problem with audio glitches when playing audio CD in the PC CD Rom drive.
System Spec:
CD: Plextor 810SA
Windows 7
Intel 3.4Ghz
4GB Ram.
I would be grateful for any advice.
Regards
Gary

Re: Audio Glitches When Playing CD's
make sure the ide channel the cd-rom drive is attached to runs in dma mode. look it up in the device-manager.
Re: Audio Glitches When Playing CD's
Hi
Thanks for the info, but this is a SATA Drive so I don’t think there are any DMA settings for this.
Further to my last post I have been trying different configuration and the best so far is the following:
Standard Wave Source
ULLI set to the shortest time, 44.1Khz = 3ms
I’m still getting pops and glitches but much less.
Any more suggestions would be gratefully received.
Regards
Gary
