Routing/Monitoring question

Post by mrvinyl »

I'm trying to record a vocalist into Ableton 8.0
But I seem to be getting the asio mix going into the channel I want to record the vocals into (1&2)
In simpler terms

Vocalist hears backing track
computer records vocals but not backing track.
And I can still hear DAW mix

How should I configure the routing window in scope

using
Scope V4.0
Creamware Pulsar 1
Ableton Live
Mackie Big Knob
PC

don't record the mix out of the mixer, record a channel's direct out.
