Recording Pulsar synth into Logic 5

This is for the Creamware--Logic user. . .

I'm trying to record Pulsar synth audio (MIDI)into Logic audio tracks. I had this working briefly with 4.8 but can't remember exactly what was different about the two environments, or Logic'settings. I access the Pulsar synths using Logic as the MIDI master environment, and Pulsar set up as a multi-inst. Then I have my various synths on distinct MIDI channels and access them by selecting different channels on the Multi-inst for each track. I have the synths then passing into the Pulsar mixer and the mix into ASIO stereo pair 15/16.

So, the problem now is that I have to arm the Pulsar synth Inst track in Logic to send MIDI; but when I arm the audio track to record the aynth mix, the original audio inst track unarms. I'm almost positive the setting necessary is within Logic and not Creamware; i lost it in the update from 4.8 to 5.

Any help you guys can provide is much appreciated; this is probably a simple fix that I'm just spacing on.
