To all MODULAR IV patchers,
many thanks for your participation in the contest!
We think that the time for the contest is too short.
So, we want to extend the contest until end of
this year,
Dec 31th.
I wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year!
Best regards

I see a lot of good things happening to my favorite audio platform...
I've always wanted a portable solution, and we have it now. First Xite, now the expresscard, and 'soon' OSX.
A year ago, my boss told me I could choose a computer, and went for a macbookpro to replace my G4 powerbook... SC had long before announced Xite and OSX, and for laptops, so I went ahead. I had the money, Xite was alive, it was shown at music fairs... and then all there was, was 'soon'. So, for my job in theatre, I still have to use the old G4 and RME multiface (about 300 euros to buy a expresscard for the RME while waiting for Xite was too much. I don't have a money tree growing on my back.)
So now we have people running Xite, expresscards are being sold (although no user reports so far), and OSX is around the corner (ok, I'm trying to be possitive, as we have seen a lot of SC action lately). Hurray!!!
What was I trying to say?
yeah, right... Will we have a choice between PCIe or expresscard when buying Xite? I'm running my Scope cards in an ancient G3 mac. I feel no desire to also invest in a new desktop. Maybe later, I'll get myself a windows desktop, but I don't see that happening really soon. I'll buy the PCIe card when it's time.
Personally, I would have waited with the upgrade offer until all intended plans where ready (expresscard, Win and OSX versions, and a v5 that is fully working).
I really want to spend cash here, SC, but I'll just have to wait some more...
Keep it up, SC. I really really love you, guys.

It's Christmas now, but I don't see any news about the 64 bit beta version...Holger Drenkelfort wrote:Dear people on PlanetZ
To confirm some rumors and give you a state
of how things are going at Sonic Core before Xmas:
- In one of our Press Releases we mentioned that we have a "62 Bit"
SCOPE versionIt seems that we have got managed the 2 missing
bits now and at least a 64 Bit Beta should be possible before Xmas.
A "66 Bit" version is not planned during the near future
Best regards & keep well!
