That is fantastic news......now if only Digidesign would kindly remove their hindquarters from the proverbial couch and release Pro Tools X....I would make the switch. (I think Reason for X is coming soon too)

I recently wrote Creamware a "Thank you" email telling them what a great product they had.....

I also encouraged them to continue and further their support of the Mac platform....which in my biased opinion is the best for music composition and recording.

I would ask that each of you do the same....it is only through this type of feedback that the company knows how important their product is to us Mac users.

I would hate to think they would stop support sometime in the future because they felt that the Mac user base wasn't large enough.

Cheers

Thanks for all this info!
I'm waiting too for X, I did spend three days to solve some problems with Cubase, OMS and Pulsar, and it would have been mutch less frustrating without all the system restarts.
So we will not have to wait till next year as I thought, great, great.
Air_Pollo, where did you get that exiting news from?
You seem to have connections...

thanks for the heads up air_pollo.

i haven't even approached os9 yet (hehe), but i can still see the beneifits of a company supporting the latest os offered on a platform.

now if only they would follow osx interface standards...that would be sweet

or perhaps graphics acceleration from ones graphic card rather than handling graphics entirely from ones processor (which i have learned is what is the case as of now).

i really quite like cw's own interface, but its slow compared to mac interfaces, and the conventions they use or that aren't availible are kind of sucky in some sense.

best.

CW's development for OSX drivers were known to me after speaking directly over the phone (sorry, my german kinda suxs). NOthing misterious in it

Anyways I also wanted to say that
Cubase SX (OSX) is OUT!
REASON2 (OSX) IS OUT NOW!
NUENDO IS ROCKING IN OSX (BETA)!
Logic 5 (OSX) is here (basicly)

OSX users, this is looking really good!

Digidesign's ProTools X will be out in June (can be delayed until early december)
