64bit vs 32bit

Hi all !
since this forum always got so manny sympathetic users I thought hopefully get some
nice explanation from u guys .
Q 1 : Can I install another windows 64bit beside my 32bit windows and choose between them on booting up.
Q 2 : whats the benefits using 64bit ( I know theres a beta 64bit version of scope 5 ).
Q 3 : I do have to install the 64bit version of my cubase ..etc don´t I .

I´m a little bit curious about trying the beta version )

• A1: Indeed, you can just install them to a different/spare partition.
• A2: Here's just the main obvious difference, the one that makes musicians, video editors and other people who use loads of RAM, want 64-bit: 32-bit allows for max. 4GB of RAM. For 64-bit OS's, double that amount, euh, 32 times. If, like me, you do not use huge orchestral sample libraries, or don't come close to max'ing out your RAM, there's no reason to switch. 64-bits will not make your machine run faster.
• A3: Here's what Steiny has to say on that. In short, they offer 32- and 64-bits versions in the same package. For your other applications, check their respective support pages. Also problematic might be the drivers for your 'older' hardware. Think soundcards, printers,.. anything that isn't natively supported by the host OS.

That's the short version - which you were asking for, or you'd be all over the forum and google ;p
