I get this kind of message:
Hardware version 16 detected. This hardware requires a software update. Please consult installation guide.
And when I try to uninstall again I get this message:
Hardware version 17 detected. This hardware requires a software update. Please consult installation guide.
what a hell is it?:-)

And frankly speaking i dont understand why does the system see my card as sonic core pulsar 2. it was creamware pulsar 2 all the time.
some time ago i updated the drivers which were sent by sonic core support, may be this is the problem.
but their web site is not functional at the moment and they didnt reply to my recent email.

Also would like to clarify where to should I install xSource folder? to the vst plugin folder in cubase, right?
Re: Problem with XTC mode and Cubase
They were Creamware until CW went out of business and Sonic Core continued the company. That's why the CW site no longer exists.... So more recent hardware/drivers is Sonic Core -no need to worry about the different name- it means those drivers are produced by the new company.
For the xSource, that'll be your VST folder, indeed.

Re: Problem with XTC mode and Cubase
yes, files are there, but i cannot see them in the window when system asks to choose the correct file.
and yes, the orignal problem still there. my xtc project is totaly ok, but while starting cubase, i still get these messages:
'cannot load the application. Please check command line options'
'Scope Fusion Platform is not running'
in cubase in device setup i can choose asio scope, but in the connections I cannot choose anything. so no output or input possible.

Re: Problem with XTC mode and Cubase
And I am sorry, I didn’t get how to make those bricks on the top of the routing window stop from disappearing?
Re: Problem with XTC mode and Cubase
You can verify your cset.ini to see if the paths there correspond to the correct paths of your installation. The example I gave sets the drop-down menu's from Routing Window.
I wouldn't bother much with XTC mode for now - getting Cubase to run alongside Scope with its ASIO drivers would be a major milestone IMO. Then, once all is running smooth there, we'll talk XTC again.
If 'Windows' Device Manager doesn't see the drivers in your Scope installation folder, select to choose 'your own' drivers, and browse/guide it to the folder manually.

Hey, if this really gets too cubersome for you: http://chat.efnet.org:9090/ , enter your nick and for "channels" put in #scope - then we can talk realtime and sort stuff much faster than through a forum
