Angle.. or something..

Post by ehasting »

Well..

I think i have finalized two tracks.. just to make sure i don't have tracks going between 2011 and 2012... my brain gets kind of a re-set every new year so no need to be lingering in the past :P

Anyway

The first track here has some blofeld, noah, novation nova and emu... and my wife..
Mastred on the creamware as well..

Trance track:

The second track is made with Several synths from the Noah EX, and emu, blofeld and my old WSA1..mastered on the creamware

Don't know the genre.. maybe some upbeat chill out?

Master Mix : Was a bit indifferent to this at first, but the second half picked up enough to raise interest and it became good.

My Beauty : Nice sounds and progression. Loved the Organ pads half way through, gave me a new perspective on how to use B3.

Have you considered using Soundcloud ? As listenters can add comments at spcific durations along the composition, its a good way to get feedback.

Hey dante, thanks for the feedback.

I must say the trance track (with out title).. is kind of a messy process.. everything becomes very sequential.. and you can say.. part one is made in one mood.. and part two is in another mood.. and there was a good amount of time in between..

but the key for the track was to experiment with "Ahh" vocals, and how that can work in the mix! i think it worked out quiet well, and i learned a lot..

The next track, is probably more the kind of genre i feel more attached too.. the creamware B3 is such a nice instrument.. and i love the organ sound.. the timbre is so interesting.. works in all kind of combinations! :)

I am considering sound cloud.. but i think i need to subscribe to get what i need.. it feels rather limited on free version..

Really like the second track - kicks along nicely.
Its got a nice 6/8 feel??
Also I like the air you have achieved in the mix
Thats something I strive for as well, although rarely achieve.
Great job.

Very Nice......
Procol Harum sounding B3 was tasty and the synths CFM's are all placed really well.

Okay.. i received my DAS plugin keys today..so i had to take them for a test run.
I realize i have plenty to learn.. and that the tools are probably more then good enough.. (can't say the same for the guy controlling the tools :P)

anyway.. the C350 are a major leap up from the SL9000 plugin.. that plug alone was worth the money!!
The master it was mind-blowing.. but i like to have something to learn! :).. but the fact that i could enhance the reverb in M/S mode not impacting the rest.. was to me wizardry... black magic or something...

Anyway the chain was this stereo track from IMAC (DSP Quattro playback) -> SPDIF -> Master IT -> C350 ->BrickMaster -> SPDIF -> iMac (DSP Quattro record)

the NEW result is:

the OLD result is:
http://maggie.higen.org/FileDumper/file ... CAE78DD80C

Sorry about the glitch in the new version... but i was to lazy to do a re-record i will do though in the future (the glitch was due to some actions that where done on the comtpure while recording).
