Scope Midi not working in REAPER

Post by mausmuso »

I can no longer get SCOPE Midi in/outs to be selectable within REAPER.
This has been the case for the last couple of REAPER updates.
All is normal within Reason, Cubase, Samplitude, Kontakt.
Has anyone got the same issue?

I can confirm that the Scope 5.0 MIDI I/O is working just fine with the latest Reaper. I'm running it on a Pulsar 2 in Windows XP Pro.

One thing I noticed is the last update seems to have ReaRoute as a default choice when I try and connect my ASIO channels.
I always sweat the newest updates, and constantly find myself rolling back to good old 4.0.
But make sure you check out the Live Configs pdf. file and latest SWS Update.
Their updates are always very useful and rock solid...

I hadn´t that issue by installing v 4.151 update even using the SWS pre release before SWS v2.2.0.1 was released a few days ago.
Also Win XP Pro SP3 32Bit.

Yepp, and I even use Bidule for the redistribution of MIDI by creating a one touch button on my controller sending out Prgm Changes and fader levels for the next performance so I know the MIDI is working, but every little ugrade seems to have something else I need to work around or remember, way too many conveniences for a meat and potatoes sequencer.
I can write out MIDI tracks for timing in no time, then add audio over the top while having overdub or replacement for each channel.
There's just not much more I need, as I never edit, when I make a mistake I get pissed and just record it again.
My new Privais 3X is getting worked into the rig and it's a God Send of a controller. 545 USD for B Stock was a steal.
No more foul M Audio KS88's. I man they were great, but a Privia 3X with a NanoPad 2, and on the left a NanoKontrol and for 700 bucks I got a great new set up to make Solaris even more fun.
The Bidule brgp. I made below is a performance feature where 1 button push sets up four instruments, that I can call up by button activation, etc.
So MIDI in Reaper, even using Bidule VSTi as a MIDI controller are really smooth.
How about a screenshot mau, and I'll trade some live MIDI sevrets that make the feedback of audio and MIDI in Reaper an advantage instead of a problem....

Here's Bidule

Brotha' Man Mausmuso,
I decided to upgrade to the latest, as I always keep previous upgrades, and Lo and Behold the MIDI Devices have all been disabled. This is something new when upgrading, so maybe you should look there fot an anser, and also select MIDI from the lower choices in Preferences, and check the echo, notes off, etc.
