The Breaking

Post by bassdude »

Mixed in scope with Transient Designer, Timeworks Vintage EQ, STM 4896, Vinco. And thats pretty much it.
I think it might be a bit bass heavy. I wasn't able to use my VU meters to judge low end energy as my studio is temporarily turned into a storage shed until I can get the new storage shed built so this has been mixed in my office with no acoustic treatment at all!

Very nice song dude, I suspect you are going to sing on top of it, as it sounds like the background for a song. The bass is not heavy on my speakers at all, what I noticed nevertheless, is that the mix has a lot going on in the mid frequencies, for the rest it sounds cool. Cheers

Sounds great. I can hear a Shannon Noll lead vocal line on it already.

Hey thanks guys for the comments. And now I've given my ears a rest I'm happy enough there's not too much low end but I think I do need to tame some of the high mids in certain sections in the drums. Maybe this is what you are referring to Nestor?
There is a vocal track but I left it out because I think the vocals need to be re-done as they sound more like a guide track and I can't get them to "sit in".
Somehow I don't think this suits Shannon Noel Dante!
