MTCtoClk to VDAT from Midi from DAW

hey guys..

new year new studio new setup new questions..

I´m actualy using 4 machines.. everything is conneted via ADAT

2 x OSX 1 running Logic and 1 running ProTools
2 x Windows both running scope´s (1st with 36 DSP and the 2nd 12 DSP)

The 2nd Scope Mashine acts as kind of a "summing device" where everything comes to an end.

OK..

Lets go to task one..



I need my "Summing scope" to record everything in VDAT.

Is it possible to get MTC or another Midi protocol setting VDAT into slave mode…

My Midi master is switching between ProTools and Logic related to what i´m doing (Midi programming/Arranging or Audio editing..)

VDAT should follow and start stop playing by getting Midi signals from my daw´s

Maybe with MTCtoClk..

if you concentrate on engeneering, it is ok. You can connect 8 PCs. But after this you must be amanager.

Can you use the vdat remote to do exactly that? Maybe there is a vdat remote vast if the master is not scope related.

there is nothing that can do everything..

i.e

MIDI = Logic ONLY

AUDIO = Pro Tools ONLY

Logic , Pro Tools = OSX ONLY


Audio Instruments = Scope ONLY

FLexible routing and ITB Mixing/Summing = Scope ONLY

Vdat Remote (VRC-S) is Master only....

you could use vrc-s and assign control changes to transport controls.
