I've just realised that 2 of my Sata drives don't allow me to switch off write caching.
I use them mainly for my samples and think it's holding my system back and slowing it down causing clicks when pushed.
How do you know if disabling write cache is supported when you buy?

Re: Hard Drives and write caching
Write caching improves performance, it allows the system to store data locally, and wait for a lower priority time to complete the write to disk.
