yes we checked also with sonic core, very strange how it happens to some and doesn't happen to some!!! we will continue to investigate!

i'd love to see videos of it working fine on xite by these xite-1 owners! As catscratch didnt think there was a problem until i pointed out sound should only happen when the steps are lit up, for some reason he thought the step edits just applied accent.

pretty much first time round when these bugs were mentioned (sb404, solaris, seq modules etc) xite users on here confirmed the issue. Not a single person piped up and said it worked fine!

if its a case of it happening to early adopters, that kind of stings!!!

EDIT:

I'd just like to make it clear that on these devices, gateway and the trancegate on the synth are more than workable as when your happy with a pattern you have set up your not going to change it. (This bug only becomes a nightmare if your are sequencing the patterns, as you cant reset sample rate when a tune is playing along). So its not a show stopper.

And most importantly the sound quality is wonderful. These are funtastic things OSS!

My XITE-1 is a first batch as well. No sequencers work in 64 bit.

And yes, the gate works, if you don't want to change te pattern. That's why I didn't notice the problem at first.

no paywall amigos!!!! yeah its more about the two way hijacking - we feel like we are a bit hijacking the forum and also we would like a more structured area to present stuff we will set it up soon! (got a sent on a course from my other job so have a few days with very little pc time before getting back into the scope grind)

Everything works perfectly on Xite now.

What a brilliant bunch of guys at ocean swift synthesis.

They keep on giving, upgrading and most importantly, fix stuff promptly when an issue is spotted.
