Here are my personal "director's cut" notes on these devices

Scope Commander comes with five devices:
- Scope Commander
- Scope Cadet Knob
- Scope Cadet Button
- Scope Cadet LFO
- Helm Keys

All of them are Midi manipulation devices. The biggest component the Commander can be used in a number of ways.

- You can use it as a main controller in a big project where lets say you have many devices - or many pieces of hw! You can make any control on these devices to a controller slot in Commander, save the whole setup as a preset and you have one master location where all your stuff is mapped and labeled and ready to go.

- As a randomizer and CC mangler - every slot on the Commander can be Randomized by clicking the randomize button or by a built in trigger-lfo that trigger the randomizng. There are 5 LFOs and each slot can be routed to an LFO, so you can set up randomization groups. All this is of course synced to your bpm.

The smaller components take the concept of the Commander and miniaturize them - but they are not just minis, each one has a specific twist. The Cadet Knob is just as its name a controller for one CC. A small difference from the Commander is here you can set minimum and maximum of the value range while on Commander you can set just the maximum range. The Cadet LFO is basically a midified LFO. Of course since this is midi here, don't expect to go on crazy fast rates, if you go smooth its very nice! The Cadet Button is simplified Cadet Knob to conform with two-state controllers.

Helm Keys is a 5 octave mouse activated midi keyboard with two features. You can place the keyboard in hold mode which holds the key when you leave the mouse until you press it again, allowing you to place any synth (turn sustain up on the synth) into a drone state. The hold mode is polyphonic. The second small quirk is the keyboard has 5 power switches to turn on other devices (see below post on Scope Eco System).

Debbie Droner
Debbie Droner comes with two devices:
- Debbie Droner
- Debbie FX M2S

Big mama Debbie is Basically this is 4 synths inside 1 synth, or 1 synth inside 4 synths... or something..,. heh depends on how you look at it. Each osc is a complete synthesis chain including the ability to use its own midi channel and then all the oscs are grouped into a mian filter. The oscs can interacte with each other via fm modulation. Each osc can also independntly be set to drone mode with either note selection or free frequency.

So as you can see, maybe if you want to make a bassline use another synth the idea here is to play around and experiment. you can make a preset that acts like a 1 osc (go ahead make your bassline), 2 osc va style fm, input drums to each channel and use the filters, make a monster 4 osc fm drone (my favorite and the point of this synth), use each osc with a different midi channel and run 4 lead lines from the synth.... lots and lots of options... set each osc on noise and you got 4 drum channels... winds, mosquitos, alien stuff, carpets, drones did i mention drones?

Debbie FX M2S is a little bonus multifx device built with the Debbie look and gui and intended for use as a way to entrich the Debbie Droner, but like any fx device you can use it with anything, it is quite nice on our th3 acid for example too!

Scope Eco System
Our new plugins and the updates introduce also a new concept into Scope -an eco system of power lines. Each device has a pad called "On" to which you can connect devices that serve as power switches. One such switch comes with the Commander Bundle with the keyboard device.

In this example Aeolian Free and Shruti Supreme are connected to one power line together, Cyan Kick and Hello Perc are grouped together and Scope Commander on it's own line. The Helm Keys module powers those lines on and off and as shown lines B and E are on in the example - so Cyan Kick, Hello Perc and Commander are on. The voice count set in the live-bar is retained when powering back on!

Utilizing Scope Eco System lets you manage your projects and dsp usage for much bigger projects and faster workflow.

This feature is non-intrusive - all the devices come with the power on by default, so if you don't want to use this feature then just don't connect anything as usual. The rest of our OS plugins will soon get updated to include these inputs, as well as other scope devices.

Spent the day familiarizing myself with the midi tools. Some nice randomness going on there with the LFO's, very useful.
