Re: small update v7
You know, I hate Forums. They are a waste of time.

Re: small update v7
so, you participate to tell us that? strange.
these forums are for
1. exchanging information, specifically about Scope, but also for things that relate to Scope.
2. helping others, especially newbies
3. chatting with other music makers, engineers and producers
if this place is a waste of time, it is because one is not doing any of those three things. what other possible point would there be to posting?
if those three things are happening, what point would there be to contending?

Btw, we have on off topic forum specifically for discussion outside of the areas Gary has outlined.

Yeah 32bit. Your right I did have to get some old dsp files from v5 (for the sts samplers)Bud Weiser wrote: Fri Sep 06, 2019 5:23 amWhen you installed SCOPEv7,- 32Bit I guess,- on XP, did it run flawlessly,- virtually "out of the box",- or were you in need replacing DSP- and other system files you possibly had to find in previous (v5.0/5.1) installation backups.Liquid EDGE wrote: Thu Sep 05, 2019 9:57 pm V7 On xp here.
Seems to work better than 5.
Only progress I want is some of the bugs fixed ( such as seq issues and sts weirdness). Other than that it does what it needs to do. Can’t really see what “progress” is actually needed.

Cheer up guys! If we assume at least one update per decade, the next one should be ready some time before 2028krizrox wrote: Fri Jan 19, 2018 7:40 amI'm old-school. I'm just happy when there are one or two updates per decade. lolXite Knight v2.0 wrote: Thu Jan 18, 2018 7:29 am Thanks. A BNC input fix for Xite would be very welcome too. Just saying....( afaik it's already on the to-do list)

I updated to windows 10 and nothing has changed for me.
Nice update I guess, I wouldn't know other than my rig never crashes, might be finicky with chipsets sometimes, but once it works it doesn’t stop until I build another PC.
I’d rather they not fix what is already working,
If perfection is desired maybe get one of those new PC and Soundcards where you get to tweak and fix everything, then buy more plug ins, tweak those, even change the color of the picture.
I’ll be happy playing music on a system that has paid itself off 8 years ago, and never crashes.
So an update for me would be a raise in these shitty Casinos I’m working in.
They don’t deserve my XITE-1 rig, but I’m old school, go hard or go home.

Now I´m surprised ...
Did you find a way/hack supressing the always present demand of automatic updates and/or being connected to the web ?

GaryB even got rid of that annoying chick with a British accent.
Microsoft engineers are racists though.
I always like the sound and vernacular of a black woman, and they only offer white.
Racists.
I want a black chick, no political correctness, like my vocalist.
She calls me nigga all the time, its funny as hell too.
Shes like a female Dave Chappelle. Dont care what anyone thinks.
Can you imagine Cortana says whatchu want nigga.
Alarm clock would say get your Honky ass out of bed mutha fucka...
I would have kept that feature enabled.

Win10 can be modded into a "normal Windows" with programs like W10privacy or shutdown10.Bud Weiser wrote: Thu Sep 12, 2019 5:42 pmNow I´m surprised ...

It's a pitty, that M$ doesn't offer a clean Win10 out of the box.
