I quite like DinoPark. But isn’t it a shrunken, slightly more modular expandable version of the Noah ? Lower cost but not rack mountable.

Yeah, I already looked at the website, but couldn't really see anything doing the distributed network stuff. I thought that was what all the hype in the first post was about, so was wondering what happened.

Maybe the network foundation was the original idea, but lack of expo traction with that concept forced them down the path of some sort of hybrid Eurorack / Noah mashup

Eurorack was probably a safe bet while they wait for the other features to gain traction. Lots of options in the eurorack world though so not sure how well this will do. Time will tell.
imho if they had developed new synths for the dino instead of 20yr old Creamware ones then it might have been given a better fanfare opening.

Well, it´s still alive (and not only as a idea),- no ?

and holger tickles a good boost in motivation

As much as I love my XITE-1,- I really doubt this connection will become useful before I die,- just because it needs the realization of related hardware.
It would have been a great addition to Scope/XITE when J.B. Synth Design 1HU blackbox "Solaris" (now Voice Expander only) had the connector and we had seen a Solaris editor device for Scope.
XTDM already was designed to carry audio and MIDI,- and I guess, a clock too.
So that was a chance and I really hoped they´ll realize,- but didn´t happen unfortunately.
