no I'm not thrown out the house by a girlfriend or so...
It's f...ing UPC that gave me the trouble.
They promised several times to send a technicion for a look at the cable modem, coz there's the problem (sayd the helpdesk).
Nobody seen or heard by fone.
Just to get through the helpdesk is a frustrating thing, takes lotsa times and time.
I checked the fat iron cable plug by myself and discovered that inside that plug the cable was loose, didn't fit in the contra part of the plug.
Tomorrow someone of UPC will repair it, that's a confession of guilt, so I let him do the job.
Coz I want my mony back over that period!
So I had my war, but here was also kind of a war going!
Gee that Imagic thing hit the place I saw.
And I missed that totally, besides the fact of the news.
I have a mac, but I feel with you pc guys and girls!
If I would be forced to change over from Cubase to Logic (even on mac) I would feel the same as you do (nothing against Logic).
I would say, like others did allready, stay with Logic and pc untill OS-X is bugfree and supported by the software you use, than wait till you feel need to upgrade the processor.
Than give da mac a try, you will get used to it fast enough, and it's a better move than change your musical home, coz there's the real treasure.
And for your comfort, the MoBo you get in your mac is allways the best there is coz there is no other (necessory).
And if nothing can ever make you feel comfortable with the mac, and your girlfriend or -boy left you that morning and you feel deeply blue, than you can open Virtual PC and feel a bit better, home again for a while.
Even, e-v-e-n, there is a possibility that MacOS will work on pc in the next future.
But that is may be the worst scenario
The other news for me was the MiniMax, with funny and very interesting posts.
Nice to read them as a hole, every thinkable and non thinkable aspect passes by.
I wanne have this thing, the demos sound great tmo.
The third ineresting thing for me was the so stated non DXL thing.
Village Z reality soap, I'm so curious about the part sir John removed from one post.
Also I have the feeling John must have had some weakness for dxl, coz this time he didn't let the thing get big.
I'm gonne phone the script writer, he could use this
Conclusion after all: like in every house there is madness, sadness and happiness.
So I'm home again!
ps. soon a new dance mix of Paul and me, on base of a breakbeat beat uhh beat.
