in the last time i use 24bit pulsars project, and do 24bit recordings and playback in cubase and wavelab.
but now i'm :eek: and :???:
can anybody explain to me this, please?

what this mean? is this mean that i use false 24bit and do i need to change something and how?
yes, i alreday set cubase and wavelab to 24bit play/rec.

The dialog is only for wav drivers.
Under XP, Subhuman reported SFP 3.1c 24bit wav drivers working, even with 24/32 greyed out in that dialog.

i found too that 24bit wav working. i have full 24bit range in wavelab's bit meter,
but why is greyed 24 and 32 :???:

Good question; this seems to confuse, so hopefully Creamware will address this...

Even Mediaplayer can send to 24bit wav Source (just make sure there's no 16bit wav loaded)
Mediaplayer can't play 24bit files though. Guess that's codec related.

yes, can be, but it's confusion anyway.
wavelab and winamp can play 24bit files no mater what is grey.
so, this will be un-greyed when microsoft do media player update :roll:

hm, maybe paul@cw can explain? :smile:
