by the way, is it me or are the mixes generally low on bass frequencies ? no a criticism, sometimes I do not trust my monitors...

As I'm a biased bass addict and no mixing talent yet, I just can compare to other youtube vids.

the beegees have more low freqs on my speakers.

yes, much better i hear the bass well on the two tracks you recently mentionned. I guess it is also a difference of style from my part (i tend to boost it a lot these days, looking for proeminent 50/100 Hz).
