EMagic Logic for windows to be discontinued!
Piracy is wrong but I think it mainly exists because software is over priced. I hope one day there will be a wide variety of open source software for making music. Currently Microsoft is very frightened that IBM has signed a deal with Redhat Linux. Although the marketing is for large servers perhaps it will lead to an eventual push by IBM to market Linux for home use. All I need is Creamware Linux drivers, a good Linux sequencer and a Linux sound editor program and I will kiss Microsoft Goodbye. I'm a registered Cubase user. If you are a software engineer you might consider this. Linus Torbald is living and working in the United Sates. I'm willing to bet that he is not starving.
i'm willing to bet he kept his rights on some of his work, and i'm willing to bet he's done work for salary on software some one ELSE kept the rights on....
of course if it's ALL free to those with a need or use, that's nice, but i'm further willing to bet that if we're all being that cool to each other,we won't need a lot of this crap we call civilization.....
hee heee o.t.
again.

I don't like stolen software either. And I don't encourage it. I thought I made that pretty clear (ie: I didn't provide the P2P network name). On 2002-09-17 07:47, Uber Knob Meister wrote:
ok mr I just do not like the hack stuff and go mad when I see this. My last software was a salary of two months. If hack stuff ok here now just post website for all to use. What other thing do that post mean ?????
In fact, I'm a software developer myself (corporations, not music

Anyway, enough of this. There must be some important announcements somewhere!
