please do not email creamware.

they do not have the unprotected version of the module to answer questions about it even if they wanted to. they are also not responsible for my mistakes.

1 to zero a knob double click on it to return it to the center.

2 turning a knob to the left will invert the signal and right will keep it positive.

3 the knobs are "dezipped" and the dezip control is the knob in the upper right hand corner.

4 the xmod feedback modules are included in the matrix .

thanks

j9k

Hi Marlin, did you mean MidiBox64? You've build it? How difficult was it? I've already done the MB16+, pretty cool, alot better than my Kenton! I'm thinking of getting the MB64 build also!

Would appreciate your comments!

Excellent, link is fixed now - what a neat module.
One thing seems not quite right - I couldn't get any output from the module until I'd moved the top right 'dezip' knob. Once I move that it seems to be OK, but not until then. Anyone else found this? I was just testing this by passing a mono signal from input 1 (top) to output 1 (left).

BTW If you are going do a commercial version of your modules/patches, I'd pay for a version which has a built in preset list (like with the sequencer modules, for example.) Otherwise there's a risk of RSI from all that knob clicking !

Thanks again for this - very cool device!

Hi MarcusPocus,
Yep I do mean the MidiBox64. Quite a simple project really once the soldering iron gets hot (connecting all those pots and buttons takes some time). It is totally amazing what you can do with it esp. with the open plan design. I'm building another one next with touch ribbons for pot controls and a few motor faders. Link it with midi merger to my already built box and 128 contollers  ) and then onto Edrum. Much fun Much fun

Sorry if this was off topic for j9k and his amazingly helpful matrix. I really appreciate his innovative work. Much respect  I rate the matrix at a solid 10

4 mor info on my MB64 just click my email icon !

I can't save the settings with the patch preset...

Is there a way to do that?

It seems that the matrix module isn't compatible with the new preset list (mod2). I recall the knob position well in a the older modular (old preset list).
I don't know if the new mod3 modules modulation mix are matrix modules but please jlk fix the module because it's very - very good...

Your v6 seems to have the preset problem fixed.

Thanks for looking at it so quickly.

(it doesn't happen with the module alone in a patch... Jlk this is a very good module please inform creamware about the problem or report me back if i 'm the only who have problem with the device... Be carefull i have lost a lot of work with the modular preset list bug and i 'm really sad...

i received that reply in creamware forum in my post for mod3 bug:

As it seams the Jlk matrix doesn't have parameters, which are needed to make the new preset lists work. In order to fix this, please contact the developer of that module. It's not a bug of Modular III.
