A sequencer with one window! allright! I'm off to check this out. Only 50lb. / $80USD

1 window is a big deal to me now that I use Ableton Live - everything else is so cluttered in comparison . . .

Give some report after you tried it!!! Look very interresting!!!

In fact, i found it is looking alot like Ableton's Live. Same controls, almost same features, but also support midi sequencing and VSTi? !

Looking forward to this. It's about time I started sequencing on PC.

I just gave it a run.. I dunno what to say. The software itself is cool. I think if I break it in a little, it'll be useful. Just one problem. About half a second after you do ANYTHING, the program takes time to save an undo point. (so it sort of pauses) People's lives may be saved by this feature, so I really can't blame the developers for implementing this... but it sure does make working with this soft a drag. Pausing after every single operation makes the program appear to run very sluggishly. Perhaps it might be cool if I turned undo level down to 5 or 6.

If you have time, please do give it a run. I'm curious to know how others feel about it.

there are some really great things happening in this app . . . and some really annoying things too. what ken pointed out about the sound glitching everytime you make an edit is one. and 'ctrl' + drag doesn't copy a sequence! how annoying! you have to 'ctrl' + 'c' then 'ctrl' + 'v' - grrrrrr. that alone makes it inconvenient to use . . . and turning off "follow play marker" doesn't really turn it off . . . grrrrr. and no automation . . .. grrrr. clicking anywhere in the sequence window but not on a clip causes playback to jump to this point. that is really fiddly . . .

It *is* just version one though. I'll send off a half praise / half flame email to the developer and see if any of the issues can be addressed.

One *really cool* thing - you can apply VST effects to individual clips in a track, and only to those clips. very cool!

1- When playing with midi keyboad on a VSTi, perfect, but playing and external midi instrument, and it lag about 1sec!!! Try playing like the eds8i for example...Arrrggh!

I have a usb keyboard, and when i route it using MIDI OX for example, there is no lag, if i use the soft, i get 1sec of latency!

2- No way to sync to something or sync something to it...

Even if the little arrows representing input devices look cool, well, they are not that usefull...

Like you said Algo, this is a version 1. Look promising, but not now...

Well, we tried!

It looks nice, but i wouldn't give up my Cubase for nothing else. I'm so confortable with now...

Anyway, and talking about othere softwares, what do you think of the Oryon, by Sonic Syndicate? It's sort of Reason, isn't it?

It looks like the creativity of software designers comes to a difficult point: how to name a program? Oryon seems similar to our well known Orion by Zarg. Reason-Reaktor, Tractor-Traction... What else? I don't criticise but wonder..........
