I imagine this device with a few "fabric" curvetypes like : sinus, line, saw, square etc. A loop function with start and stop functions would be nice too, so some kind of time-control is needed with a sync-option.
And then a midi-out so I can control other devices with this.
If such a device exist, I apologize for my ignorance and ask politly for a link, but otherwise I would like to see some other interested users and hear their additional ideas for such a device - a name perhaps
