Hi there!

Here is my question, I hope it is in the right forum:

I would like to merge several banks into one, to easy the acces to the synth presets. Is it possible to do?

Thanks in advance,
sebastien

in the new style preset list, go to the upper right corner. there you'll see something like this: <>
now drag this 'button' to the left. you'll see an empty preset section. here you can load a second preset list.

in the old style preset list, there's a tab. if you click it, you'll also see a second preset section.

i'm not in SFP right now, so it's just from memory that i tell this, but it's something like i described.

hope this is what you're after.

If the synth uses the new-style presets list then it's dead easy. You can create as many new banks as you like on the left-hand preset window, drag open the right-hand window, load a bank into this window and drag'n'drop whichever presets you want into the left-hand bank and resave over your old version of the .pre file. This way you can keep all the factory presets and any you add in one giant preset file, in separate banks. To change banks/presets it seems that it's better to send the bank change message first followed by the program change, as sending them at the same time doesn't seem to work.
