Pulsar 2 - Master or Slave

Hi Guys,

Hopefully this is not a repeat, but I havent found a suitable answer on searching.

I have a Pulsar 2 connected to a Roland VM3100 Digital Mixer via both SP/DIF and ADAT. I have Cubase/SL and use the VM3100 as the A/D for Guitar, Mics etc.

Two Questions:
1) Should the Pulsar 2 be the master or slave clock source ?
2) Is it better to use the ADAT or SP/DIF for clock sync'ing.

If it was me, I would set the roland as master, set pulsar so it syncs via spdif.

But it depends on what works best for a stable clock. It's a matter of experimenting to find out which setup works well.
