for long i tried to keep my mouth shut, but could't anymore... this is a small part of the reply i was preparing, but before posting it, i saw john had already made some remarks, so here is just the most important part of my reply...

<FONT SIZE="-1">ah well, i thought you would have gone LC, apparently not...

where to begin???

it's about a year now that i have been reading your contributions with great interest, actually since this topic: http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... 06&forum=5
not a lot of people (atomic, king of snake and me... yes, snotnoses from the 'lowlands')saw the content of the pages on the eternallyerect site, but enough to confirm it was sick... let me explain: the page was filled with war like pictures, and lots of slogans, all of them anti islam, arab, palestinian. one of the phrases (and of course written in bold and big characters) said, and i quote: 'the only good palestinian is a decapitated one'... for people whose english isn't that good: decapitating is cutting off someones head. i was stunned, couldn't believe my eyes...
at the time john cooper was on a holiday and subhuman was moderator and having a hard time with the dxl affair. still, i emailed him, but got no reply and just let it be... of course i should have sent the same message to john as well, then we probably would have been spared of all this xenophobic guy's stupidities</FONT>

Hey Lifechanger:

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO SAVE ROUTE 666
NEW MEXICO - According to an article published August 3,1995 in the Wall Street Journal, residents of Colorado and New Mexico are petitioning their local government representatives to officially change the name of U.S. Route 666 to something else because they believe it is cursed by evil supernatural forces.
"Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666"
-Book of Revelations

The passage itself is easy to interpret. 666 is nothing less than Satan's street address. The Anti-Christ is alive and Route 666 is his home. The numerous deaths along the road might seem to be caused by drunk drivers, accidents, and poor driving conditions but this is a falsehood. The fault lies with The Beast.

Why would we advocate protecting a road known only for evil? Simply because it is a known evil. The Anti-Christ lives somewhere along the 200 mile stretch of road waiting for the seventh seal to snap. If the name were to change, surely the Anti-Christ would seek a new address... possibly on YOUR STREET! Let him stay in New Mexico where all he can harm are some burnt-out hippies who are going to Hell anyway. And when the Devil comes to town, you can forget property values.

You can forestall the ancient prophecy of Armageddon! Call or fax your senator or congressman and demand they stop this name change from taking place. Then you can sign the petition below

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Print this page and cut here
Dear ________(Your Legislator):

I, ________, think that Route 666 should stay Route 666 despite what some crazy misguided christians say. The Anti-Christ is on that road, and I want him to stay there! My children deserve to grow up in a neighboorhood that doesn't have no biblical evil runnin' around. And while you're at it, lower my taxes and give me more stuff.

Love, ____________(date)_________

Peeeoplezzzz,

I did not intend for my rant to turn into a pissing-on-lifechanger contest. It's not funny.

Let's just let it go now. If the assurance of being banned keeps him on-topic from now on, then we should all be happy.

There's no reason to give him any more abuse, especially when he knows he can't respond in kind (because I *will* ban him the next time, as I said).

-John

p.s. furthermore, as I've asked LC many times -- please refrain from copy/pasting lengthy OT articles in your post. Post a link instead. Braincell, although I realize it was a joke, (after a quick google search) your post could be edited down to the single line:
http://www.ooze.com/ooze7/X0002_666.html
LC always ignored my requests, but hopefully you won't.

ahh, politics. Don't human beings just love politics. I'll turn this political air into a different direction.

My rant is about politics, where it isn't called for. As some of you may know, hip hop music, and dance is both quite divided with strange political/phylosophical views.

What happened was, my friend started pop locking (like robot dance) 7 years ago, in Japan. Back then, the whole hip hop dance thing was new, and people were still trying to figure out what they were doing. Pop locking was a combination of robot dance, the famous "wave" stuff, and also king tutt (like egyptian style). Then, my friend moved to Finland, where he concentrated on fusing these styles into his own style.

Around 2 years ago was when things started to evolve in Japan... in 2 different directions. One path, which my friend took, was to take the combination of the different pop lock styles and to fuse them even more smoothly, and also to take pop lock dancing into a direction of theatrical physical expression.

The other path was the more "purist", where people started to say that the different styles within pop locking were actually a style in their own, and that robot dancers could not do waves, or king tutt dancers couldn't do robot dance.. So, this is the political path.. and as you can see, all it made was divisions amongs an otherwise united group of people.

So, anyhow, my pop locker friend is back in Japan.. just shocked at the scene. The path he took.. which is obviously much more innovative.. is a view no body shares in Japan. The effect was, the entire political movement had caused his style to become non "pop lock", politically speaking. Of course, he was quite shattered, to know that all the greater dancers that inspired him 7 years ago were the ones that started this political movement.

But on the other hand, it was clear to me and my friend, that we did not want to take any part in such movements, and that the fight towards the innovative and creative should continue. The situation actually, is better than when everybody was fighting to be innovative and creative. Now, everyone is going back to the conservative, the roots. That way, us avantgarde hip hop creators tend to stand out. Call that positive thinking...

So, the rant is that movements like this can be sad.. The good news is that there's always a way to use the situation to your benefit.

Hope this turns the situation around a bit here too.

I totally agree to that philosophy Ken.

There's always a way to turn things to positive. When you have a creative mind...

Anyone who bothered to look at LC's links would find little gems like:

"So here's my solution for the African fiasco: a high wall around the whole continent, all the guns and bombs in the world for everyone inside, and at the end, the last one alive should do us all a favor and kill himself. "

So, with LC's final post in the planetz forums, he *finally* posted links instead of copying the whole text, bravo! Thanks for that.

But, from now on, he can spend all his time at the freerepublic.com, where people might actually care about his posts.

From here on out, we won't be seeing LC here at planetz. I drew a line in the sand yesterday, and he just crossed it. He could've stayed if he really cared to stay.

My apologies to the members of planetz for having to excercise the moderator's ban rights. I hate doing it. On the other hand, my apologies to the members of planetz for not banning LC last year some time.

-John

p.s. now he's banned, I wonder if I should expunge the archives of all his shit. There's such a haze of bad vibes hanging over planetz right now....

It's up to you John. Honestly he didn't bother me as much as he bothered you and I am left of liberal.

Well done, John. Ban him and forget him. Here's no space for militarists and racists.

John, it's the kind of action he himself propagated, so at least LC will understand you. I'm pretty shure you didn't wanna 'go down' to that level and would prefer to find a better way - but some things can't be changed.

cheers, Tom

rant!

I just went to a hipho club event that started 10 pm, and ended 5:00 am.. got home and went to bed around 7:00 am. Well, obviously, I'm DEAD tired.

Okay, I'm 24 and I guess I'm not really an energetic teenager anymore, but I remember back in high school, I used to go to these all nighter jams and go to school the next day.

My body is showing its first signs of adulthood? RANT! This cannot be!!!!! LOL

My rant is that people are more interested in soft-core sex and sport rather than serious news and events. This may not be a surprise to anyone else, but I find it disappointing.

I'm producing some multimedia content for a serious news site at the moment and sex and sport get sometimes TEN TIMES as many hits as real news and other interesting material on world events....

That means they will want me to make more and more "fluff" and less real content. Pah ! What sort of contribution am I making to the world with that stuff ?
