Hi all,
I'm dumping my 2 peavey studiomix's and looking for another way to control Cubase and/or SFP hands on. I heard rumours bout steinberg dumping support and production of the houston control, I don't know if this si true or not. Could some of you maybe confirm this?
Bout the houston: is it good value for money or just a waste of hard earned $$$? And most important why or why not, and are there better alternatives available at about the same price?
Hope some of you can help me out on this,
Greetz
Is Houston Control worth buying?

I don't know Houston, so sorry...
But i know Radikal Technologies SAC 2.2, which is the controller which have the broadest support actually.
Support Logic, Cubase, Protools, DP, Live, Fruity, Creamware with many synth already configured, and a lot more.
Can also control up to 10 software at the same times (other don't at all). And a couple more features like this.
I think it's worth check closely...

Hi Valium,
I have tried many DAW controllers, and if your DAW software is Nuendo or Cubase, no doubt Houston is the choice rigth now. I don't have it myself, but I had it for a 3 months test period. It's no doubt the most complete and easy to use device. Anyway, I didn't bougth it, becource of bad build quality.
Rigth now I use CM automations Motormix. Nice faders, but I can't do much else than control volume.
Waiting for Steinberg ID...
