The day has come, my C partition is full.
Can I move the VST PlugIn folder to another drive without re-install all plugs?
Is it possible to change the VST folder in Cubase?
I was stupid to use the C drive for the plugs.
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried moving your VST folder and making a shortcut to it within your sequencer program?

you need to take a bit of care with this as certain plugins may have protection mechanisms, external files, or registry entries which point to the installation path, so moving it may cause some problems with some plugs.

I had luck doing this once like this:

-Uninstall any plugins that might have memorized the path.
-Move the junk to a new folder, leaving the Cubase plugins behind (if you've installed all 3rd party to the default Cubase dir, thereby merging them all, you might just want to uninstall ALL of the 3rd party plugins)
-Change the registry setting:
LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareVSTVSTPluginsPath to the new directory.

Now, when reinatalling the 3rd party plugins, they should default to the new directory. Cubase will still see it's own plugins in it's own VST path regardless.

Good luck!
