hey all.
You might remember that I did a thunder sound on the modular a while ago. I'm in the process of documenting the patch as part of my portfolio for grad school applications. And in the process, I need to show that I actually studied and analyzed some thunder sounds. I do have a recording of a thunder storm that I did myself. Problem is, the thunder strike was too far away. (was I just lucky) Obviously, if I was able to sample a nearby thunder strike, I wouldn't be here. LOL
Anyhow, I need to finish this document within a week or so. Are there any easy solutions? I need a nearby thunder strike.

I'm talking about the ftp site I provided for the new collaboration that Nestor organized:On 2003-11-05 07:16, krizrox wrote:
I may have some too. If dbmac's sounds aren't quite what you're looking for, I can probably provide a few more samples.
How do you upload to FTP here? Are you talking about the music section?

Got to mention - the site host I'm using is Aplus.net, which you recommended to us a while back.
