I found a big mistake in scope/fusion platform software.
Here are the sintoms:
When I try to start CubaseSX with sfp not loaded to start my Pulsar2 in XTC mode, XTC doesn't start and reports an error about a missing entry point for some function in the library RAPI.DLL
The result is that XTC does not start, and both Pulsar's VST plugins and hardware is not accessible from cubase.
I looked for a solution for this problem in CW knowlege base and this forum; I found some other people reporting the same problem but nobody found a solution yet. So I spent some hours investigating myself and here is what I found:

If on the same pc where SFP is installed, Microsoft Active Sync for PocketPC software is present, the error occurs. In fact both Active Sync and SFP install a dll library with the same name (rapi.dll)

I tried to rename Microsoft's library to RAPI.old and all the problems with SFP disappeared. Of course ActiveSync doesn't work after the rename!

Already wrote about this to CW support, suggesting to change the name of RAPI.DLL library, so the user can have both ActiveSync an SFP softwares installed at the same time.

That's pretty cool!! I had that issue a few months ago, and ended up reinstalling Win XP  I can say with confidence that ActiveSync was running on the computer.
