I am in need of help on this one or maybe ive just totally missed something. When I open the "empty modular" or any modular .dev i have the usual availible modules in their appropriate pull down menus BUT i am totally missing the
modules ( for example vocoder fx modules, midi gater etc. seems all new mod3 modules)that are installed in the "Modular III Modules" folder under the C:SFP root directory . And the weird thing is that Flexor is installed in the same folder and it works just fine. Right now im manually dragging/dropping the modules into the modular window but its getting annoying.Any help appreciated

i just copied the m3 mdl's to the appropriate m2 folder so i wouldn't have to remember if they were m2 or m3.

I had the same problem which I solved by using the factory CD rather than the download. You can get one from CW.

So it wasnt just me doing something wrong then since you had to use the cd version to correct yours. I just hope others who bought m3 dont have this problem since they might not even realize theyre not using it to its full potential.

Same problem here. Don't know what I'd do without Planet Z.

there's an item in the 'Scope Settings' dialog for the module path and in cset.ini as well.
Dunno if one overrules the other as I've used cset.ini and left the dialog empty.
Documentation could indeed be improved on the topic since one wouldn't consider the global settings dialog in the first place.

cheers, tom

Nevermind. Figured it out....

Drag-and-Drop is apparently the official and correct way to add modules, even in the Modular III app itself.
