Oohhhh - didn't know they had released it. I'm a die-hard Rush fan myself. Will definitely look for it.

I got to meet those guys after a show in Germany back in the early 80's. This must have been before they invented wireless guitar transmitters because Alex had a roadie sitting behind one of his stacks pulling on his guitar cord the entire show - to keep it taught.

I had heard some rumor that Neil Pearts' wife and kid were killed in a car accident a while back. Had you heard anything like that?

I've got the CD-version already (very reasonably priced triple CD set). The Live DVD has been ages in the making but it's finally here!

A very sad business indeed. It was in '97 I think - their daughter Selena was killed in a car accident (no other vehicles involved, apparently). Neil's wife Jackie just couldn't deal with the pain of this, and died herself about half a year later

After a few months of not really knowing what to do with himself, Neil jumps on his BMW motorbike and does an incredible 155,000 mile journey in about 18 months or so (that's some biking!)

He wrote a book about his experiences - a very moving account of his journey & life:

"Ghost Rider - Travels on the Healing Road"

After something like a 5 year haitus, Rush finally found themselves back in the recording studio, bringing out "Vapour Trails" a year or two ago. For my money, about the best album they've ever done, and a monumental tour-de-force of passionate drumming.

Incredibly, Rush's music now spans four decades and has been my 'drug of choice' for over twenty years now

Thanks for the input on Neil. Sad to hear that.

I have Vapor Trails and I agree, one of their best efforts. Sad to say I missed the tour when it came through Chicago.

Anyway, did I miss something or is this DVD not being released yet in the US? I went to their website and saw no mention of any US release date. Strange. Or maybe I just missed it. I'm sure I can order it somewhere on line. I must have it! I must I must I must.

DId you ever pick up on any of their solo efforts? The only thing I ever heard was a bit of Alexs' solo album. Nada from Geddy.

Yeah, Alex did "Victor", wasn't it. I haven't heard that, but I do have a copy of Geddy's "My Favorite Headache". Pretty good.

Not been getting much shleep ovr the last few days...my house mate's moaning that "We don't have a telly any more..." I shall convert him to Rush!
