Hi,
I just installed Luna II in addition to Pulsar I. All looks great (7 DSPs warm up)
but sequencers (and Windows at all) do not
see any Pulsar midi in/out. Only Luna.
2 midi interfaces are better then one...
Anyone faced that problem?

First, load up the "Pulsar MIDI Source" before loading the sequencer

Seems like the install changes some of the hardware I/Os in the default project perhaps?

my experience has been that Windows nor sequencers need to know about Pulsar, as Luna replaces it (maybe has to do with the new V2 drivers ?). You can only use the HW MIDI IN/OUT in Pulsar OS anyways, and it "knows" about the HW, so no problem there. In Cubase (also, notice elsewhere that you use Luna's and not Pulsar's wave drivers), Your MIDI I/O will say "Luna 1,2 3 . . . ", but this corresponds to your Seq Source/Dest modules, and is no different between Pulsar AFAIK. I still use the Luna titled stuff in Cubase without probs. It is confusing in appearance though! It is really all semantics.

...perhaps for the "windows drivers" that show up in your sequencer, but...

inside Pulsar itself, if you're using a hardware midi port like I am, then you will actually need the Pulsar Hardware device called "Pulsar MIDI In" -- it definitely is different than "Luna MIDI In" -- remember you can still use all the hardware I/Os on both cards inside Pulsar. Just have to drag in the appropriate module...

which is what i meant when i said: "You can only use the HW MIDI IN/OUT in Pulsar OS anyways, and it "knows" about the HW, so no problem there." thanks for the clarification- you will need to use both Pulsar Midi Source/Dest and Luna Midi Source/Dest to access both HW MIDI ports. . .

Nothing happened when i've loaded the PULSAR MIDI SOURSE and DEST before sequencer(cubase)tonight.
Some Luna+Pulsar users was glad to recognize that they're not alone(on IRC i mean). It's funny thing .
