Okay iam new at this...Sx has no problems in saving its own audio in wav, mp3. Now i have Xtc Edsi8 on drum track and the exporting works but sounds like crap in wav,mp3(digital buzzing sounds).. There is a slight crackling noise when playing the xtc tracks in sx..Only thing open is sx with the xtc vst's... The Sfp is completely shut down to load xtc into sx and the Sfp icon at bottom right of sreen disappears. Am i suppose to set up something in Sfp b4 i shut it down to open sx? Should the sync button be on in Sfp settings..I havnt touched the routing window in Sfp..
This is a error messages i get in sx,
- xtc plug ins fail to install

Thank you for the info.. I see that Atomic had posted a picture of the Routing window..It appears in my set up of Pulsar 2 Sfp v3.1c i could'nt find the DirectPlayMixerContainer or Scope Z link..
Also the term Realtime recording in Sx? does this mean iam playing the xtc tracks in sx to be recorded in another software/hardware. Can Sx record anonther Audio track in same project window while playing at the same time the selected tracks..
regards

Hi
I have found with my system that I do not seem to need the DirectPlayMixerContainer. I just setup my ins and outs as I needed and so far so good. I couldn't find it anyway, you could use the project posted in the other thread then modify it.
To record your mix in realtime, just connect the output back to a spare input and select it in SX then press record, but be careful with feedback when monitoring in SX, you may need to pull the input fader down on the track you are recording on, depends whether you use direct monitoring I think. I have a Luna Box and use an input and output pair just for my main mixdown.

Hi
The way you want to use it... is the correct way....
I use 16 ADAT channels and 8 analogue I/Os with my Luna box. I don't use any Creamware midi, I use a midiman 8x8. Most folks systems will be different, that's what is so great about Creamware stuff.
If you post a screen shot it makes it easier for everyone to help.
