Since a few weeks I use the p4c800 de luxe mobo with i875 chipset. And the intel P4 3ghz HT processor. Already upgraded the bios and chipset. Now my problem is that if I'm in the xtcmode and I want to use the automation as well in Logic 5.5.1. as in Cubase SX2, then my computer hangs. If I disable the HT in the bios there is no problem. Another problem I have is using the STS sampler in SFPmode, with HT it stutters, without HT it's ok. If I disable the HT the performance is less, so does anyone know what to change in bios, or something else to do to solve this problem, except for disabling HT in bios ? Thanx in advance.

This I want to add:
the computer only crashes when I use the automation on Creamware instruments, when I use it on VST instruments there is no problem.

the easy solution is don't use ht.it's not helping you much anyway, even working properly.the trickier solution to would be to assign sfp to one logical processor and logic to another.you might do a search on ht.much noise and nonsense......
