The speech sample is quite rare - it's from 1943. (mayor of NY - F.H. LaGuardia) regarding Tesla's death.

It's still in beta phase (there should be another rhytm in the second part probably from Reaktor, speech should be edited a bit - someone could find listening to a guy speaking for 8 minutes boring & also mixing/production touches).

For those interested, here's what's used:
Pad - Spectrasonics Atmosphere
Seq/Fx - Clavia Nord Lead 3
Bass - Spectrasonics Trilogy
Drums/Rhytm at the end - filtered Groove Agent (will be replaced with Reaktor later)

This is full of emotions and always progressive. I haven´t concentrated myself on the text during the listening, I have to listen to it some times more but you really open excellent situations during this track, in a matter of what he says and how you react with your overdubed music.

I hear lots of clicks like wrong cut wave files or bit quantisation errors in it.
Have you produced this track in a higher resolution than 16bit? When yes, you probably forgot to dither the track on the final mixdown.

Anyway, another unique track here on Z that I really enjoy.
cheers

Thanks for the comment!

The noise comes from bad denoising techniques used (this was done by a guy who sampled it from the original tape).

Cheers,

agree, nice sounds and flowings, well done
at the same time, to me the track as it is now isn't enough, I need more 'dynamics' I guess, unless you consider it as an artistic track with a certain function.
Then don't change anything, but you really should declick the file

Despite the clicks, which are very annoying, I loved the song. “Very” nice effects and sequences… Very nice chosen sounds as well; I would love to listen to it without those clicks and crackles…
