Most of the Creamware devices, like the STS-5000, should be XTC compatible, but the 3rd party Scopers haven't gotten the updated kit yet to do the same thing. :-/

I think they should have had it for a short while now, but who knows how long it will take each developer to convert their devices... my guess is, look for the commercial devices to get ported first. I would think Creamware would want to convert all their plugins immediately, perhaps even with the release of 3.0, since that's what would make the most sense.

However, sometimes what makes the most sense isn't what happens  Cremaware plugins will get converted to work under XTC at some point though.

Thanks for helping
Is there a sugestion though from cw
that sometime in the future the pulsar
2 and the xtc format will be fully
compatible?
Basicly i am asking because i was thinking pulsar or xtc instead of a sampler
(sts-5000)and since there is a summer offer
of the xtc with the scope srb board i got
into concidering the xtc

All Creamware plugins will eventually be compatible is my guess. Most or nearly all 3rd party will be compatible at some point, particularly the commercial plugins (some of the developers who made the "free" devices did so with a SCOPE on loan, etc).

Remember that with 3.0, everyone will be getting the XTC interface for free; and that you can upgrade an XTC-only card to a full SCOPE or Pulsar later too (this costs a bit of $) -- you're not "locked" into running only one way.
