A very dear friend of mine is moving to Jerusalem very soon...
I want to work out a little computer communications set-up for him, hopefully wireless broadband from a laptop.
Can anyone help with wireless providers or ISP details about Israel, or even some useful links ? I'm completely in the dark about what level of technology & services is available...

Internet is everywhere here, Your friend will have no problem to arrange himself an internet connection.
Most places here use ADSL/Cable modems, and there are wireless internet services available too for the road. GSM & TDMA Wireless networks are available.
There are 3 Major Wireless Providers in Israel:
- Orange (GSM): http://www.orange.com
- Cellcom (GSM/TDMA): http://cellcom.co.il/english
- Pelephone: I can't find an English site. You can take a look at this link:

As for ISP's:
Probably the wireless company could suggest offers and link you to them. If you still want to contact the ISP's themselves:
