Minimax question?
Greetings fellow scopelings.
I was just looking at the minimax synth and got the impression its just a hyped up version of the miniscope included in the SFP software.
Is there anyone out there who owns it who can tell me what exactly makes the Minimax worth getting compared to the miniscope?
Peace´n stuff
Nisse.

Seriously, i used Miniscope MkII on one song ever - it was OK but no hottie, then i got MiniMax. Pow! This thing gets used on nearly every track i do (unless it's some gentle acoustic guitar thing).
Purchase - you will not be disappointed. Make use of the half price offer.

Let me put it this way: my Scope cards are currently in for repair and I've lost MiniMax because of it. I cry periodically!!

Hey Shayne, we will check your hardware fast and you don't loose a 50%-off offer of ( ofofofofofof
) for the minimax.
Maybe you know minimoog. The Minimax is a max-version. In my opinion it sounds more closely and more powerful. FAT !!
I use minimax for solo's and bass-lines => WOW.
cheers
Ralf

I unfortunately do not own the Minimax but will one day. When I tried the demo it was an emotional experience. I had just returned from a local MI retailer where I played the Moog Voyager. It sounded INCREDIBLE! On my way home I decided I was going to try the Minimax demo while the sound of this synth was fresh in my memory. I was very skeptical about the claims made about the Minimax. I installed it & my mind was blown! I could not believe the sonic quality of the $3000.00 synth I had tried minutes before was coming out of my PC. Tears began to well up in my eyes.(LOL) I really need Minimax but alas I am financially challenged. If you don't have it & you want to take advantage of the resitration offer, buy that synth!

Damn, that article from future producers was a real testimonial.
Mayhaps I should give serious thought to the Minimax. Damn Creamware for producing so many high quality synths.
*shakes fist in despair, but reaches for the credit card*
Oh mighty Visa, dont fail me now. . .

Thats a real dilemma you got there, Samplaire.
As you might know, I already own the Ambient. And that synth is such a monster Im sometimes afraid just to load it into my project
If I had to choose between the Minimax and the Ambient. . . I just dont know what I would do. Allthough I seem to remember that you were after a synth especially for lush sweeping pads? If thats the case, I dont think any synth can beat the Ambient, not even the Minimax.

At least I can stop holding my breath
Could you, please send me a screenshot of the v3 version (the one on Zarg site is very old)? "apple" + "shift" and then you choose the portion of the screen you like; the image appears in the root folder of your MacHD (or whatever)
